met chun at clarke quay and we gt lost.went arnd asking fer directns and it was soooo tiring.my feet hurt.i hate ppl who step on my feet >[ i hate getting lost too!in desperatn,i queued up behind this couple asking fer directns from a guy and the guy laughed when i asked him fer directns to DBS arts centre ): so mean.he laughed and said, "oh THAT i dno." we were late AND lost okay.and chun laughed too!zzz.we finally rched thr at like 723 and my heel was blistered (oh and my toe was bleeding.realised when i came home) and thr were lots of secsch kids who dressed like they were gng to a party and were making hell lots of noise.godd.
the play was GREAT.lovely.the cast put up a wonderful performance and their Shakespearian english was beautiful.thr were qte a few sexual innuedos too-in both speech and body gestures.i liked the way the fairies were portrayed to be so aloof and high-and-mighty.i liked how Puck frolicked and pranced arnd the stage.the stage was small,bt i feel tt they rly made gd use of it,stage directns were okay.thr were some parts of the play tt appeared to be diff from the text,bt tts the thng abt drama.it subverts the idea in the text (usually) and the mood and characters are smtms portrayed in ways tt dun seem to be aligned with how you view them when you rd the text.i wish thr was a post-play discussion like TIOBE.i had a few qns i wanted to ask ]: was kinda disappointed, shows tt one shldnt gt their hopes high.
enjoyed myself aft sch,the play part only actually.went JE stadium to watch the bball finals btwn hc and ij.hc won 63-40++. met sm and we managed to talk and catch up.and i fnd out smth abt a schmate tt made me kinda horrified and sad,bt ohwell.cant judge.
was talking to chun abt some stuff too, including this.
rly,the decadence you see nowadays is enough to make you want to puke.what's wrong with ppl?!dun we all hv conscience?i guess this means thr's smth wrong with me too,bt atleast im nt THAT fucked up :s hai.nvm nvm.all part of life.
